Welcome to Forney ISD’s Opportunity Central - or the OC for short.
The OC is a one-of-a-kind, multipurpose destination designed to combine learning, innovation, business and community experiences together under one roof. It serves as:
A Career & Technical Education campus for high school students;
Home to the Academies at the OC (grades 4–7), sparking student engagement, featuring coding & robotics, golf, swim, theater and entrepreneurial leadership;
A vibrant shopping hub featuring local dining, retail, service, experience-based and student-run businesses;
An event venue for everything from sports competitions and concerts to trade shows and private celebrations;
A community space with enrichment classes, coworking areas with free Wi-Fi and indoor fitness options, and
A college and education hub for learners of all ages.
It’s the only place where you can grab a coffee, get your hair done after golf practice, take on an escape room challenge and still discover something new.
The Welcome Center is open Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
