The OC is a multipurpose campus designed to serve career, college, and community needs.
On the first floor, you’ll find all of your necessities: restaurants, retail shops, service providers, and fun experiences—like a mall, but better!
The second and third floors are all about learning. Our Career & Technical Education (CTE) students gain real-world skills and prepare for their future careers in dynamic, hands-on classes.
In addition, The OC offers versatile spaces for meetings and events, with room for groups ranging from 10 to 5,600. These spaces are available for bookings. Learn more here.

Every day, you can enjoy a wide range of dining options, retail shops, and service providers—including an automotive shop, salon, and design & print store. While The OC offers a unique and welcoming environment, it remains part of Forney Independent School District, which means all standard district policies, as well as state and federal guidelines for school zones apply.

The OC is more than a campus—it's a hub for hands-on learning and growth for students and community members alike. At its core, The OC is home to Forney ISD’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. But learning at The OC doesn’t stop there.
Some of classes and programs designed for all ages and interests are:
Engage Community Classes: Community members can participate in classes and workshops that cover everything from health and wellness to skill development, crafting and design. Check classes schedule here.
Talent Factory: Located right inside The OC, Forney Talent Factory offers high-quality instruction in dance, music, and acting. Learn more at talentfactorytx.com.
Code Ninjas: Kids ages 5–14 have the chance to learn coding, game development, and robotics through fun, engaging programs. Learn more at codeninjas.com/tx-forney-isd.
OC Academies: Hands-on learning experiences offered throughout the year for students in grades K–8. Each academy focuses on a theme like entrepreneurship, theater, golf and robotics, providing enrichment beyond the traditional classroom. Learn more at forneyisd.net/academies.

The OC is a hub of fun and enrichment for kids of all ages, offering both recreational spaces and educational experiences.
OC Junior Playtime: Designed for younger children, the OC Junior Playtime is a two-level indoor playground that mimics the real OC. Families can register for scheduled play sessions ($12 for 1.5 hour sessions) that allow children to explore, move, and engage in imaginative play in a safe environment. Code Ninjas at The OC: Kids ages 5–14 can dive into the world of technology at Code Ninjas, where they’ll learn coding, game development, robotics, and problem-solving through fun and interactive programs. It’s a great way to build future-ready skills while having a blast!

The OC hosts a wide variety of public and private events; however, we are not responsible for ticket sales or event registrations for all events. To purchase tickets or inquire about attending a specific event, please contact the event organizer or promoting entity directly, as listed in the event information.
For events promoted by Forney ISD and/or The OC, tickets will be sold through Hometown Ticketing. These events will be advertised on The OC website and app, as well as the Forney ISD website, with direct links provided for purchasing tickets.

The OC is proud to partner with a growing network of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and service providers. At the OC, we do not simply lease spaces but rather partner with businesses who are interested in providing hands-on learning opportunities to students in our Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. Interested businesses can respond to a Request for Proposal to be considered as a partner. Becoming a business partner at The OC means gaining exposure to thousands of students, families and community members every week—all in a vibrant, collaborative environment.

Students gain real-world experience at The OC through Forney ISD’s Synergy program, which connects high school learners with real job opportunities alongside OC business partners during the school year. OC Business Partners are assigned student workers through the Synergy program to support their operations while helping students build future-ready skills. In addition, Forney ISD partners with outside businesses in industries not available at The OC — such as healthcare — to provide hands-on learning experiences for students enrolled in specific Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.
Businesses outside The OC are also invited to participate in our annual Jr/Sr Student Job Fair, hosted by the Future Ready Department, where they can recruit students for part-time or summer employment.
