Inside the 2026 Forcast Learning

The halls of The OC were buzzing during the incredible two weeks of the Forcast Learning Conference! Passionate educators from school districts across Texas gathered under our roof to collaborate, earn professional development credits and explore the future of education.

A highlight of the event was the keynote speaker, Clay Smith—Google's Solutions Engineer and AI enthusiast. Smith took center stage to break down how artificial intelligence can be utilized as a powerful tool in modern education, giving teachers cutting-edge ideas to bring back to their classrooms.

🗓️ Two Weeks of Collaboration & Growth

The conference offered ultimate flexibility with both in-person and digital learning options:

• Week 1 (May 26–29): Packed with dynamic, in-person breakout sessions led by area education experts.

• Week 2 (June 1–4): Continued the momentum, featuring the Virtual Education Strand on June 2 & 3, designed as a blueprint to master the systems and strategies of digital learning.

Between sessions, attendees got the full OC experience—networking with peers, browsing our local shops and refueling at our on-site eateries.
