Summer is just around the corner and The OC is officially becoming the ultimate playground for creators, gamers and innovators. We are thrilled to announce a powerhouse lineup of summer programs held at The OC, featuring everything from high-tech coding and competitive gaming to hands-on artistry.
🥷 Code Ninjas: Code, Build, and Game On
Ready to go from player to creator? Code Ninjas Forney (located on the East Side, 2nd Floor, Room 264) is offering immersive half-day weekly camps for ages 5–14.
Minecraft & Roblox (Ages 8-14): Master modding in Java Edition or 3D design and programming in Roblox.
YouTube Content Studio (Ages 11-14): Build a brand, edit video and master the digital spotlight.
LEGO® Robotics (Ages 8-14): Build and code robots using LEGO Spike Prime kits.
JR Camps (Ages 5-7): The perfect intro to Minecraft & Roblox game design for our youngest Ninjas.
Camps run Tuesday - Friday from June 9 through August 7. Morning (8:30 AM - 12 PM) and afternoon (12:30 PM-4 PM) sessions available. Enroll in both for a full-day experience!

🎨 STEAM Camps: Science, Art & Beyond
STEAM Camps (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) are designed to keep campers engaged and learning through hands-on fun. While these are open to all, there is a special emphasis on current Forney ISD students.
The Lineup Includes: Cookie Couture, Rocketry, Comic Book Creators, Entrepreneurial Adventures, Guitar Studio, Everyday Experiments, Self-Care Science and more!
Dates: Weekly (Monday - Thursday) sessions running from June 8 through July 16.
Location: The OC Academies and main building.

🎮 Esports Camp: Epic Gaming Fun
For the first time ever, Esports coaches are hosting summer camps for students grades 1–8! This is the place to develop strategy, teamwork and individual skills in a competitive, fun environment.
Camp Highlights: Intro to Esports, Advanced Mario Kart, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros, Speedrunning and more.
Dates: June 8–11 | June 15–18 | June 22–25.
Location: The OC Academies and main building.
Beyond the game, students learn about "casting" (commentating), teamwork and deep-level game strategy.
